The doctors had told us that my mother would be required to do a dialysis. She is of old age. We decided to take her for Hijama. After getting her Hijama done she had her bloodwork and the doctors were very surprised and in amaze, the readings changed and they said she doesn’t need dialysis right away, SubhanAllah. They asked us to keep taking her to do Hijama continuously, keep doing what you guys are doing. Today was the second time we took her, and we plan to take her on a regular basis Insha’Allah. This is one of very beneficial Middle Eastern ancient traditional therapies which Avicenna (Pur Sina) used this method and talked about the benefits in Canon book.

“I was in a car accident in 2016 and for past three years I was taking shots and physical Theraphy for my right shoulder pain. In 2019 my mother convinced me finally to try Hijama procedure with Saima. I have come for treatment here with Saima for the past year. “This is my 3rd time performing hijama with Br. Rizwan. We are blessed to have such a facility in our local area. My first experience when I was having a frozen shoulder and had about 10%-20% mobility in my arm (can’t reach my back pocket, nor can I lift my arm above my head). As soon as I’m done, I stood up to reach up to my shirt and I noticed immediate improvement in my shoulder/arm mobility. I could lift my arm, turn it freely, reach out to my back pocket without pain. I regained about 70%-80% mobility instantaneously!

My experience with Hijama has been life changing. After I graduated from college, I was having trouble finding jobs and was getting rejected for the most bizarre reasons. I had no trouble securing interviews or getting to the final rounds of the interviews but never received good news after, even though most of my interviews went very well. This happened a countless amount of times.

It was only through talking to an Islamic scholar when I realized that there’s a possibility that someone casted an evil eye on me and that’s when I really started paying attention to all the small details on why I wasn’t getting a job offer. I found about Hijama through a friend and he mentioned that Hijama cures evil eye. I did some research myself over a couple weeks and decided to set up an appointment. One week before my Hijama appointment, I had the chance to interview for a position and I therefore scheduled the Hijama for a couple days before my interview. I went through the recruiting process and within 2-3 weeks I had a job offer.

I am so grateful to Sheikh Rizwan for his services and bringing the Hijama practice to Dallas. I will never forget this story because there’s so many lessons I took from that period. And I will keep returning for Hijama as much as I can. Saying that Hijama can truly change your life is an understatement.

“This was my first time experiencing hijama and alhamdulillah for Sr. Saima’s compassion, kindness and care, it was a great experience. She explained it very well and her facility is well organized and clean. She showed me the equipment and her certifications she and her husband hold. She has great bedside manners, alhamdulillah.I did feel some discomfort during the procedure, which was all minimal and normal. I did not feel the pain of the “cuts” (which as sr. Saima will explain are very superficial), but did experience the pressure, and some of the points hurt a little. This, as Sr. Saima graciously explained, was due to the toxins being removed and those areas in particular had more than others. If she hadn’t been so reassuring, it probably would have hurt more and concerned me more. I didn’t feel that different after but I would like to go again for a follow up, insha Allah.”

“In summer 2015 it was found out that I had sihr (magic) on me. I was abroad and I had hijamah done. I felt great relief. However it hurt great deal, it burnt my skin and my hijamah marks were still there after 2.5 months later. The lady who did hijamah abroad had used fire to create the vacuum in the cups, which I learned later on from Sr. Saima that it is not the right way of doing hijamah because we are forbidden to use fire to heal. Before the sihr problem, I had wanted to have hijamah for a long time, however I was worried about how it was done. In summer 2015, due to my sihr problem I had the chance to read about it a lot, all the hadiths mentioning the benefits and how Rasulullah (saw) encouraged his ummah to have hijamah. When I came back to the US, I was so happy to find out that we have a husband-and-wife team doing hijamah in Frisco, TX. It is not easy to find people who know how to do it according to sunnah. I was so happy when I met Sr. Saima because she followed all the sunnah, she calmed my worries down and explained to me about the right hijamah without any rush. As soon as hijamah was finished I was feeling very light, energetic and relieved psychologically as well. My hijamah marks was already going away the next day. I urged my husband to have hijamah too. She didn’t start until I was comfortable. During the process which was both quick and easy she continued to confirm I was okay. I loved the way she explained each step and patiently answered my questions. The process itself was fairly quick and only slightly uncomfortable, much different than I was expecting. Once you see how our Prophet recommend this practice, then the next step should be to find qualified and experienced people.
